Guest guest
Hi Frieda, In Sc I have a class in the Spartanburg area on November 20th, 21st, and 22. But Frieda instead of you guys sending folks to Sc, why don't you and your department sponsor a class??? It's very easy to set a Spanish for 911 class, this is what you need to do: First we'll need a training room or conference room big enough for 30-40 students. Then I'll need you or a designated " coordinator " , all this person has to do is 1. send out a few ncic or dci messages telling every center within a 50 mile radius about the class. 2. when students call the coordinator to make reservations they make a roster with the names and departments of students. It's better if they pre-register and mail in a check to the coordinator for the student fee. That's it!!! Fairly easy,,... The fee is $75.00 per student, and that includes the Survival Spanish workbook. I'm figuring $75.00 per student for 40 students. If we get more than 40 the price drops abit, but lets say we only get 30 then it goes up abit. I havent done a class in TN yet, so I'm a bit flexible if we dont get 40 students right off the bat.. Let me know if you or anyone out there is interested in my classes, you'll get alot out of it, and no previous knowledge of Spanish is needed... Hope to hear from you soon... Gracias,, Joe Blanco
