The workshop will be taught through power point lecture, film clips and experiential exercises. About the presenter: Eva J. Usadi, MA, BCDIs a trauma therapist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of PTSD, Complex PTSD and Combat-related PTSD. She is trained in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, TFT and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy as well as Structural Family Therapy. In 2007-8 she worked with traumatized soldiers and their families at Ft. Drum, home of the 10th Mountain Brigade of the U.S. Army. In 2010 she was part of the team that provided EAGALA-model equine assisted psychotherapy for active duty warriors from all service branches at a psychiatric hospital in NYC. In private practice since 1995, she works with first responders from FDNY, NYPD and PAPD, warriors from all service branches, veterans, their families, and civilian trauma survivors. Ms. Usadi has presented aspects of this course in New York, Utah and Scotland.
