Guest guest
Good article, but it depends on the pediatrician. I saw many of these signs in my child IMMEDIATELY following his fifteen-month shots and brought them to the attention of the pediatrician. In addition to the signs mentioned, my son immediately lost all the speech he had acquired up to that point. The pediatrician's response was continuously that I was imagining things and was an over-protective first time mother. To the loss of speech, she said, " Lots of boys lose speech at this age. " Hopefully pediatricians have changed since 2001(though I doubt it as many have come out publicly declaring they will fire any parent who doesn't follow the schedule), but if it in any way indicts or correlates to the vaccine schedule, they will probably move to put as much time between shots and the diagnosis of autism as possible. Just my experience. They made us WAIT for and official diagnosis until he was three, though all the signs were there at fifteen months. I would say that if the PARENT sees these signs, then doctor or no, the parent needs to intervene immediately. don't wait for a doctor to agree with it. You know your child best. If you think something isn't right or something has changed that is detrimental to the development of your baby, then you are probably right.
