Don’t tell him you’re still in the hospital if you aren’t.  Tell him the truth about the ER and follow

up appointment this morning along with whatever you found out today.  If you tell them you’re in the hospital they

can call and ask for you.  If they say

you aren’t there you are going to have to tell them so it is better to tell

them the truth.  You don’t have to tell our

employer everything just what you most definitely know, no might or thinking it

might be.  That way you aren’t

lying.  My employer wants to know and is

very accommodating for when I need off.

It might be because I work government, an elected official and have been

a loyal employee for 21 years.  I hope

whatever decision you make works for you.

ER-ot-this is what I was going to email my bosses-need feed back

I am still in hospital, the doctors have been running a lot

of tests.

They are " thinking " I may have lupus. But I have to have more tests

and " maybe " a lung biopsy to know for certain what is happening in my

lungs. I really want to keep this all private until I know more.

Hopefully, today I can get more details.

I truly apologize for the inconvenience.

But the issue is I miss sooo much time from work.

I have to go in to see the pulmo doctor this morning and I am the only full

time person (clerical staff) in my office.

And I'm always ill.

Right now I dont think I would say anything to my job unless

you have a boss who is extremely understanding about things. Otherwise, I

think I would wait until you find out something more definite before you say

anything. Just tell them youre having some medical issues right now and

that you are working with your doctor to discover the source of the

problem...thats all they need to know.

What should I say to my job? Really don't know what they are

thinking.

Should I tell them what the doctors are thinking? That it maybe lupus or church

Strauss syndrome (not sure if I spelled that right) :(

Got a call from my doctor last night who is running more test but this is

something he is thinking about now.

Just left er.

It seems as if I still have pneumonia for two months! What is happening to me

-the hives-my glands swelling. I feel horrible!!

And now scared because doctors are thinking LUPUS! Give me a break!

Also they are thinking they may want to do a lung biopsy!

Needless to say I've been crying my eyes out.
