Guest guest Posted June 10, 2010 Report Share Posted June 10, 2010 As I have read postings in the last couple of months about Prednisone and did not know how bad it is for you. I have been on it since February and my rhuematologist is slowly dropping the dosage. He just dropped it to 7.5 Tuesday and my asthma has been horrible ever since. I feel I have the option to breathe or talk and not both and for walking any distance you might as well forget it. My lung doctor wants me off of it as soon as possible. As for the possibility of my asthma getting worse what would happen if I just stopped taking it? Has anyone out there just stopped all at once? What happened when you did?
