Guest guest
This one rocked my world. Yes, it mirrors what has been saying but says it in a way that is more apparent to me. Yes! I love this stuff. I feel like I'm educating my Ego... " Divine will is what is breathing your body right now. It's been living your whole life. The misunderstanding is that there is something separate called " my will, " but all you have to do is look at your own life: Do you always get what you want? There are these things called desires that arise, but are they the determining force in the universe? It turns out that desires are not running the universe. There is something else also present that is much bigger than your desires, and that is divine will. It's not hard to see. All you have to do is look around, and whatever is happening, that's divine will. It's not hidden away; it's appearing in every event and action, even when you scratch your nose, laugh, or cry. Divine will knows what it is doing. Whatever you are experiencing right now is not a mistake. In this simple recognition that divine will is here, your desires stop being relevant. They are still present, but they are held much more lightly. Once you see how irrelevant your desires are, it is possible to experience a different kind of happiness, one that is not dependent on getting what you want. You are happy when you get what you want and equally happy when you don't. That's how irrelevant your wants and desires can become. " I see Divine Will/Reality/God as the " Obstinate Husband " of my Self. Does what he wants, when he wants, and doesn't care what others think much to the usual dismay of the " Badgering Wife " - the Ego. Or, to give another metaphor: Divine Will is the director of my Self while Ego is the actor upon which all view this character. Ego could either hate the part (she, apparently, has her own ideas how things should be run) or love the part (loving what is). Doesn't matter either way, the show will go on as the director sees fit. I will admit, even though I can deepen this understanding I have of the world and life, I - at the ego level - will never completely grasp it. Impossible to contain it all this on the conscious level, yes? Just as the ocean cannot be contained in a single glass. Though all aspects of the ocean are there inside it to varying degrees, lending to the glass and it's contents its individualness, it's uniqueness, apart from others. Guest guest
yes, your observations feel right ... as long you write about ''thoughts''. when you suffer from such experiences, I guess, you'll will write: ''I feel like existence reduces your EGO...'' Doesn't feel like you point this kind of hard education, experienced as ''Dirty Work'' n0by :-) > > This one rocked my world. ...Yes! I love this > stuff.
