Job Description: New York Creative Arts Therapists PLLC is a group practice

providing individual and group art psychotherapy services to children,

adolescents and adults. We are seeking a part-time staff therapist to provide

individual in-home therapy services to children in foster care throughout Queens

and group therapy at various agencies in the NY Metropolitan region (5

boroughs). This is an entry-level position for a limited-permit eligible LCAT.

Excellent clinical supervision provided with hours acceptable towards LCAT

licensure.

Start date: Immediate. Hours will be 5-7 hours per week until caseload is

built-up. Expected client contact hours 10-15 hrs/week. Work will begin once

limited-permit is received from NYS Office of Professions.

Salary: $35/hr. This is a " fee for service " employee position (on payroll). We

cannot compensation for travel time.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1-year experience working with children in preventive, involved

with ACS, foster care or similar

- MUST have a car and be willing to travel throughout Queens.

- Able to work during after school hours and Saturdays

- Independent, self-starter.

- Strong clinical skills and excellent written communication including

treatment planning

- Masters degree in art, drama, dance/movement, or music therapy

- Excellent references required
