Hi,

It may be good to check with ATCB, you may need an LPC for Washington, Dc /Virginia.

Art Therapy practice in Washington DC

Hi all:

I obtained my AT masters degree and LCAT here in NY and I will be moving to Washington DC next year. I was wondering if anyone on this list knows:

Is a License required to practice in Washington DC? (I plan to work towards building a private practice). I checked out the private practice link within the Potomac Art Therapy Association website and some of the practitioners do not have a license so I assume you do no need one.

Any suggestions or contacts are welcomed.

Thank you,
