Guest guest
Hi Tatum,I just took my first case narrative exam last week. I won't know if I've passed for a while, but I assume I did well enough (at least I'm sure I got a total of 8 points for proper grammar, lol!).In Section IV, I described the treatment team's rationale for choosing each diagnosis. In Section V I just wrote down the diagnoses for each Axis.Good luck!CristinaSent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®Sender: NYCCAT Date: Sat, 20 Aug 2011 18:19:41 -0000To: <NYCCAT >ReplyTo: NYCCAT Subject: LCAT case narrative questions Hi All,I am about to take the castle worldwide case narrative exam for Dance/Movement Therapy and I was wondering if there is anyone who could give me some pointers on some of the sections and how the test was over all.My main concern is that I am answering section III correctly as far as the diagnostic formulation.if any one has any feedback please let me know!Thank you!Tatum Brogan MS, R-DMT
Guest guest
Does anyone know where I could possibly view a sample of a case narrative for the CAT licensing exam? I would like to see what they are actually looking for. Thanks very much. Kim > > Hi Tatum, > > I just took my first case narrative exam last week. Guest guest
I just took them both and they've graded part 1 which I passed. I referred to the DSM IV-TR to prepare for the test. I wrote up the case on my own before taking the test to gather ideas. They keep all of your stuff when you get there, so you just have to remember your ideas once you're there. It's three hours, all computerized.
