Applications for the RFP are due on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Higher Education for People with Disabilities Through this RFP, TCDD seeks to develop, demonstrate and evaluate a more inclusive model of post-secondary education through which students with severe disabilities receive the supports they need to succeed in college, university, and/or vocational/technical programs that were originally designed for students without disabilities. The entity receiving this grant would be expected to develop a system through which, each year, at least 10 adults between the ages of 18-25 who have developmental disabilities would complete a post-secondary academic or vocational certificate/degree program of their choice.
