I was prescribed progesterone cream today. I can get it compounded here in town or WIP. What do you suggest? How does Dougherty's cream work? I checked and they use versabase, which looks ok. It's not as natural as the natural WIP, but I might be able to live with that. I would just like to have something that works. My progesterone is low, though I do have good news in that my FT3 numbers are finally where they are supposed to be. We are working on getting my FT4 up now. :)

Thanks.Susie

The WIP creams are not as natural as they used to be. They started adding a preservative which I found very irritating for vaginal use. I ended up switching to sublingual capsules.

Thanks, Jan. WIP said they had sodium benzoate as a preservative in their " natural " cream. I think their other cream had some sort of glycol in it.Susie

I'm actually doing quite well with the oral progesterone capsules with olive oil.

I'm actually doing quite well with the oral progesterone capsules with olive oil. I asked for cream since I wanted to be able to manage my dose better. I don't think I can halve olive oil capsules. :(

Does anyone get the creams from Dougherty's or Abrams? Can they make them more natural? The versabase is not natural at all. Susie
