I hear your message loud and clear. My fibro fog and vocabulary are one of the

reasons I read so much. I feel that I will always be getting words in my head

and maybe that will help with the fog. Of course, what can I do when I forget

my own address when ordering pizza. I have not read that particular number in

any books lately. LOL Love, Cam

Re: Fog question a/Norah

Isn't it amazing that our once-quite-intelligent vocabularies can be

reduced to " thing " , " thingy " , " hmmmm... now what was it? " , " I

forgot " , and " forget it .... I can't remember it anyways " ?

I am so scared at the thought of going back to work and actually

having to talk to patients, give med instructions, tell docs what the

patient needs, etc.... I'm sure I would sound like a complete idiot -

if not be downright dangerous. Applying for disbility is looking

better and better - but then I'll have to talk to them :-(

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as

to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr.

Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to

certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't

be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that

situation better.

Have a nice day everyone.
