I'm still here Colleen.....I have a lot going on right now, so I haven't been

posting as much as usual. Never fear! I'm still watching and cheering for

everyone! If I'm correct about the dates, everyone should be near the end of

the 30DC......

hi!

i workout in the mornings, but it is around 9 or 930am, after i get the

kiddies fed and settled with toys.

anyway, i thought id report in now that the 30 day of april have passed...

in those 30 days i took 4 off as a rest day but i was able to do a stint of

15 days in a row. i did not lose any pounds but think that i did lose a

half inch off of my waist and maybe even a half inch off of my thigh. no

change in my hip measurement. my goal is to lose 25 pounds.... since i

started on january 1st, ive lost 3 pounds, and inch and a half from my

waist, a half inch from my hip and a half inch from my thigh. certainly the

weight is not coming off fast but i am hanging in there and have adjusted my

goal to 20 pounds and my goal date from this may 24 to jan 1/2003!! it is

looking like this is going to take a while!

Cola,

That is GREAT to hear you DID IT!!! I only got in 22 days in last

month. BUT I am going to try again this month with my new points

schedule and see if I can reach 100 points.

Just keep trying, WHen I lost the weight the first time. I too didn't

think it was coming off. I had been working out to AL1 for 2 months.

I then changed some of my eating and it just melted off. It seemed

that it all came off in one night. All the sudden my pants were

hanging off of me. And I had to buy new ones, and only a week later,

those were getting too loose. SO don't give up. One morning it will

all be gone. I am working on getting back to that point.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

Beckie who has only worked out 3 times this week so far, and hopes to

get in 5 by the end.

Carolyn,

Congrats on your commitment to exercise and the 1/2

inch loss. Keep up the good work. Eventually the

pounds will realize your lifestyle change is permanent

and bail out <g>.

Carolyn,

Congratulations on your accomplishments so far! I think your goal is very

reasonable! It may take some time to get the weight off, but if you take it

off slow, it will stay off!! I dropped about 15 pounds in about a months time

and I am amazed by how fast and easily it came right back on! All the weight

that I took off slowly (about 80 pounds worth) has stayed off. Slow weight

loss is the way to go!! Good luck girl!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

:)

hi beckie!

i was kidding around with my husband and told him that maybe one morning i

will wake up and the pounds/inches will be gone!! LOL!

we had a good laugh about that but after reading your post im a bit more

hopeful :)

.... eating... well, i am not doing too bad but there is always room for

improvement. yesterday was my son's birthday (3) so i had to have *three*

pieces of cake... ugggh! i felt mad at myself when i got up to exercise

this morning... also i took yesterday off, i was just so busy with the

kids. but today i got back into it and am going to see if i can do an even

longer stint of say 20 days in a row... i should be pretty tired by then...

heh heh. i am feeling sluggish and realized that i have not been taking

my vitamins each day so im going to get back into doing that as well -and-

paying close attention to the food im putting in my mouth and pouring that

water in!!

thankyou for the pep talk!! i wont give up!!

now, as for you, it sounds like you are ramping back up into a full week of

workouts and im glad to hear that! we have both done it before and we will

do it again!!! yah!
