T-3 and iodine question

Val,

I have been on 50 mgs. iodine for over one year. It helped immensely

when I first took it since I wasn't on any thyroid hormone then.

I recently read that, in order for rt3 to be cleared completely, I

would need to use a suppressive dose of t-3 so that my thyroid can't

produce t-4 at all. So, I am thinking that I should stop the iodine

(and I have dropped my dose of this and my temps dropped a lot) so that

I can raise the t-3 (as my temps allow, since I take hc also). Does

this make sense?
