Guest guest
The silly part about the letter sent from my insurance company (a list of all the Class 2 meds plus the 2 Doctors who prescribe them to me) was the threatening tone. This insurance company paid for 2 detetherings, a bladder stim replacement in 16 months. They know I have arachnoiditis and I had even asked for case manager. The case manager I was given quit after 2 months after my bladder stim operation which really surprised me. It is like they really wanted to hang me for something. Not to mention, what drug seeker only goes to just 2 doctors? The problem is how these things make you feel. You begin to question whether you really should take prescribed pain medication. You start having a vague sense of guilt that you don't deserve to be free to join the rest of the world -- and maybe you are supposed to be bedridden for the rest of your life instead. My dog recently had surgery and he is being sent home with fentynl patches. Wonder if the government will be sending my poor puppy a letter too. -- M.
