Bayer also has a new device that uses pressure -- you can get blood from other

places besides fingers, like hand, etc.

, I heard the darndest thing, the best thing to put on open sores is honey.

I don't know. I

know they have recovered jars of honey from the Egyptian tombs it's still honey.

I have some 400U vitamin E capsules, I use a large safety pin to poke a hole in

the end, use it like

a squeeze tube and put it on wounds, it speeds healing. Sam

That's right, Sam. I just couldn't seem to think of vacuum. Maybe it

reminded me of vacuum cleaner and WORK, LOL.

Dear -

I wish the next time you have to have tests done that my mother and or I

could be there. My mother is an excellent phlebotomist, able to get the most

difficult sticks, with little pain. She trained me, so I am pretty good, but

I don't think quite as good as she. Neither she nor I would run screaming!

(what a strange talent to run in a family, huh?)

<< Dear Meenie, Sam, and others who've written about my not being able to

get blood.

Thank You all for your concern and ideas.

You should see the nurses when they try to get blood in the hospital.

Everybody runs from the room when they see me coming. I don't

understand why I am so difficult!

I know what Wayfarin is, and I don't like having it in my body.

But, that is what they say I have to take for my heart.

Truth is, I don't bleed much even when I do get hurt. Just get sores

that mostly get infected. Why?????????????????????

I appreciate all your kind Emails.

Dear ,

I sure wish you or your mom could do my blood tests. That would be

great to have someone who is sure of themselves. I get fearful when I

see a young nurse coming toward me with a needle. So far I've never had

one who could do blood. They stick it in and push it all different

directions (hurts!!) then call someone else. Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!

, are we talking about arm blood draws? One lady said her technician asked

her not to have

coffee the day of the draw, it shrinks blood vessels and makes the draw harder.

For me I had a heart

insufficiency after coffee. Repeatable and scary. My heart was tested.

rasddioactive picture and

chemical stress test and found sound. I drank lots of coffee all my life, can't

do it now, sam
