A place that would not allow any pain, coughing, weakness, sleeplessness, nausea or worry. No meds. There would be no need for oxygen tanks or wheelchairs. No need for docs. Just a couple of weeks off would be nice! We could sit around and eat all the fattening food that we want and not have diabetic seizures or heart attacks. We could sing with our strong voices and talk half the night. No thought of medical bills or lost income. Just a group of us enjoying a brief respite from it all. Wouldn't it be nice? I got so feed up with all my pills, I recently decided to stop all my pain pills and pain inhibitors, to just see what it was like to fell my body again. To be a whole person, not groggy or numb......I don't think I'll be doing THAT again anytill soon. LOL!!!!!! I guess I'm just resigned to "better living through chemistry". All kidding aside, for a quick minute it felt good to be able to leave the pill bottles at home and pretend I was normal. For a quick minute.
