Guest guest
I've got to take a break here. I'm just not knowing how to get around here to join in and then I go everywhere trying to get back to the messages again. If I want to respond to a person, how do I do that? Obviously I'm not too experienced with a board like this. Seems like I must be doing it the hard way...is there a way to simply go back and forth from reply to messages? If I post, does that create a thread of those who reply to me, and if so, how do I access the thread? Whew! When you reply to one...we all get that reply. This is a sharing group. We share what goes on in our lives with one another in hopes of exchanging ideas and thoughts, hearing what other Drs. are doing with others on here. And many times sharing with our own Drs. what's being done for others in the group throughout the vast area. We share all info on meds, treatments, hospital, families, feelings emotions, fears and victories. We cry together in saddness and rejoice together in victories. Welcome, to our online IPF/PF 'family'. So glad you our a part of our special group. Feel free to ask what you will, and I am sure someone will answer or P, will find the website for it. LOL... kiss kiss, `Ginger~

Guest guest
Hello Sher, Welcome---If you want to reply to a message just touch reply in your tool bar, write your message and send it out. Like Ginger said, It goes to everybody in group including you. You will find a bunch of caring people who would like to talk. If you want to originate a message. Go to group web site, sign in and send your message. Took me a little while to catch on. Good Luck----Grey Re: Re new member I've got to take a break here. Guest guest
I'm not getting it...why do messages go as emails and also to the board? Is it intended to be both or one or the other? Perhaps it's the way I set up my profile. Re: Re new member I've got to take a break here. Guest guest
Hello Sher, Regardless of how you post, the message goes to the board and to everybodys email. This thing about names could be coming from yahoo. I have been called about three different first names. Don't have any answers. Grey Re: Re new member I've got to take a break here. Guest guest
Hey, Sher: I got it set up so all the posts come to my email addy. Then when I read an email that I feel I would like to respond to, I just hit reply, add my two cents worth, click send, and go back to my inbox for my email. Real simple. Guest guest
When you reply it will go out as an email and on the board. You can set up your profile not to receive emails if you want. That's what I do. I just sign on the board every day and read them in order. Also I you hit reply it shows the original message in the box under " to, from and subject " . Click at the beginning of the first line on the original message to move the cursor there and hit enter a few times to make enough room to type your new message. As you type the original message will move down for you. Hope that helps. Tom > > I'm not getting it...why do messages go as emails and also to the board?
