Guest guest
Hi Bob, How are you coping? Everything you said to Carol shows just how much you loved and cared for your wife. God Blessed you two with each other and lot of wonderful years . I want you to know I have been praying for you. God Bless you Bob... Peggy 9/04 ipf Bob HoltPeggy 09/04 ipf My Dear Carol, Please do not give up. This is Bob, a caregiver who has been through it. Keep the faith. Change your priorities. Don't try and do it all, like you used to do. Make your hubby first in your life, as you probably do. Work towards settling all emotional accounts. Talk together a lot. Share past experiences. Remember the fun things that you did together. Go places that are dear to your hearts, even if it just under a favorite tree or place of quiet solitude and beauty. Get away for a few hours if possible, just to be by yourself. Do not feel guilty about this; it will do you both good. Listen to and try to understand what these lovely folks here are trying to say to you. They don't have all the answers but have a lot of experience. They are afraid just like you are, but they receive comfort and advice from each other. Remember, you cannot do it alone. God Bless, Bob in Utah
