LAR input deadline extended to March 23

The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) has extended the deadline to accept stakeholder input for the agency's fiscal year 2014-15 Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR).

The new deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012.

Stakeholder input is a key element of the LAR process. All DADS stakeholders are invited to submit initial ideas and input on the agency's fiscal year 2014-15 LAR. Stakeholders can provide input through the DADS LAR website.

Other opportunities for stakeholders to influence the LAR process will include a public hearing in Austin as well as an additional hearing via video conference in various locations across the state. The dates and times for the public hearing and videoconference will be announced soon.
