a, I hate to hear that, But on the other hand it's good to kmnow that I'm

not the only one. My son and Dad just got back from Dallas last week. They

said it was pretty hot down there.

I fortunately live at the edge of a desert so the air is dry. I have visited

the East coast in the summer and the humidity really did me in... and this was

long before I knew I had fibro.

My hubby has set our central air to 74 but we put a small AC in the bedroom and

have it set at 72. He says he'll just put more covers on for himself. He is

trying so hard to make my homelife comfortable. I guess he's grateful I don't

want him to work outside of the home. I love my job and can work just fine.

I have found I'm not waking up a lot burning up. Weird how our internal

thermostat is so screwing with fibro.

:o)

Hi everyone! Well it's been realy hot here. And I can tell it without

a thermometer. Unfortunately our A/C is not working . For the past

few nights it's been 96 degrees at 10:00 pm everynight for a week.

It's cooler outside! This house gets hot and just holds it.

Anyway, I know all of us can tell if it's going to rain or a air

pressure change, but now that you have Fibro, can you notice a change

in how your system is affected by heat? Personally I can, but I'm

just curious if it's the fibro or something to do with my histoectomy.

thanks

The humidity is awful in Virginia. Last night it was so hot, about

89, that we had a huge storm. It was so bad, that I shut down the

computer completely. And I turned off the AC, and took that

opportunity to clean the filter--until the storm passed. Today, the

humidity/heat was just as bad. We had a big storm at about 1:30 pm,

and later this evening another big cloud buster. Didn't cool anything

off, only made it more humid, and the river is way up. It's hurricane

season. I hate to see that that will bring us.

Monday, I had a 6 week check up. I'm supposed to have that test they

recommend when you turn 50,that uncomfortable one where they check

you for colon cancer. That's a scarry test for me, because of my drug

allergies. Don't know when another drug allergy will pop up. I talked

to the NPN about a scooter, so I have to visit PT to talk to them

about my problems walking, even with a cane. Then I'm going to find

out about service dogs. She didn't know who to ask, so I'll ask

around. I have something for vulvodynia from the NPN.

Congrats to Vickie.

Glad Savonna is with us again.

I like it around 85, even warmer if I can manage it. My husband likes it

down in the upper 60's, and we fight over it all year long.
