MyJournal Website Launch

Hi all,

I uploaded a " My Journal " website to keep track of my diabetes

management and weight loss attempts. I'll update it ever day or so with

details about how it's going. This is a big departure for me from my

normal routine which was to try to forget about the diabetes and

weightloss problem. I'm doing it for myself as well as for others to

get some insight into what they can do to get out of a stuck-rut..<g> if

their diabetes management/weight loss plan needs a boost or a jumpstart.

I've included files that have helped me since I got diabetic

complications (the chair exercises), and I'll be adding new things in the

future.

Believe me when I say that if I can start doing things in a better way

ANYONE can. I'm coming at this out of a decade(+) of major denial, and

it's not easy but things are getting better each and ever day. I'll

keep track of my bgs, weight loss and a lot of other things at the site,

as well as have links to various resources that are helping me reach my

goals.

Mostly, I want to be accountable to someone....and I guess with a

website like this which will be linked to the other DFAN sites I can have

24 hour accountability?..<g> I need for this to stay on my mind as much

as possible. Sometimes if I had a model to go by maybe I wouldn't have

made the mistakes I made in my management plan, or I wouldn't have felt

like i had no other place to turn (with the depression and denial).
