In fact, it sounds counter intuitive but muscle relaxers can cause it because the body is trying to compensate and restore homeostasis. So you have too much spasm, take a relaxer, have too little tone and the body is trying to come into balance and overcompensates. I will be thinking of you. I remember counting down the days to the surgery day. I guess I am concerned that the leg jerk is a side effect of some of the meds I take? I know this can happen.
