If you go to the group homepage and click on polls, there is a poll that was done a while back to see how many people smoked or had family members that did. The results were interesting. In the polls everything is anonymous which is really the way it should be. We are not here to judge each other. Just support each other. An entire list full of people (it would seem, or maybe you've scared the other few thousand members into submission), who claim they don't smoke, and support smokers to the death. I honestly do not think that is possible. Sorry, I flat out don't believe it. Folks, I actually worked in a place with a smoking culture. Their egotism did infect the entire place, and not only when it came to smoking. What is your problem with everyone? Ive been a member in this group for several years now and the people who post here regularly are not fakers. They say things the way they are in their lives. It is pretty apparent to me that you expect everyone to just flat out agree with you and repeat your mantra that smokers are evil. Guess what...thats YOUR opinion. Youve made statements about them having personality disorders and now you claim they are egotistical. We get it, you dont care for smokers...and thats fine...you are entited to your opinion, but so are we. I dont know if you have noticed or not, but to this point, nobody has resorted to name calling and insults to you. Yes...some things about SOME people who smoke DO annoy me. But, not all of my friends who smoke are guilty of the bad habits SOME smokers have and Im not going to shun them because of what other smokers may do. Again, just like the whole advair/symbicort discussion, it is pretty apparent to me that you have an agenda. People here generally get along quite well with each other and we can accept other peoples opinions without judging someone. IF you are here to judge people, please just leave us be because we dont need that. If you care to share experiences and such, we like to hear others experiences..theres been many times where someone has mentioned something and people will reply that it happens to them too. Its nice to know you arent alone sometimes. Whether you choose to believe the poll or not, is your choice but please dont come back here calling everyone here liars and bullies because you dont know any of us. Since the poll was completely optional and completely annonymous, theres no way for anyone to have influenced anyone else and for you to insinuate that is offensive to me, and Im sure plenty of others. For the record, I did NOT take the poll, but I have nothing against people who smoke as a whole. The thing that keeps us coming back to this group is that we all learn something from everyone without fear of being subjected to personal judgements.
