My friend says that if I look out and see anything but love, I'm

A fundamental premise of the Course in Miralces and 's work is

that NOTHING (let me repeat that again: NOTHING) outside of your MIND

can effect you. It has to be that way, or our power as the SON of God

would be denied. NO ONE cures or can cure ANYONE else, the ONLY one

who can cure YOU is YOU. Now you may say but plenty of people were

reported as cured in the presence of Jesus and even this well meaning

doctor, how do you explain that? People are cured in the presence of

someone who is clear like Jesus or , because somewhere in THEIR

OWN mind THEY make a choice to heal. It literally has NOTHING to do

with Jesus or , they are simply a reminder that another choice

could be made, a choice for health instead of sickness. The choice

itself is not an ego choice, but a choice of the decision maker in

the mind of the Son.

But honestly don't believe a thing I have said go get a copy of

the " A Course in Miralces " or " Loving What Is " and educate yourself.

Hey ,

Yes, it is wonderful to see the Christ (love) in the criminally

insane. Yet that will NOT stop the criminally insane person from

killing the next person they meet. The ONLY thing that will stop that

in my experience is a change in their THINKING. The ONLY reason a

criminally insane person (or anyone) kills is because they BELIEVE an

unquestioned thought. Undo the thinking and the criminally insane

person now becomes a sane person. Just your seeing the love in them

WILL NOT produce any change (see previous post today).

yeah mary, as i said later on in the same message, when my own

thoughts/perception changes, i see that there is no problem with the behaviour

of others, i look out and see love in all behaviours/reality.

OK, so it's an urban myth...I hope everyone can pardon my naiveté... I'm new to

all this stuff.

That anyone else is sick, and could be, or needs to be cured, is only our

perception, right ? I'm getting myself confused now... where do you draw the

line between reality and perception of reality ? Maybe sick people don't exist

at all... maybe nothing exists !!

If I experience sickness, how can I choose to be healed ? I have nne

on's book on my bookshelf and started reading it years ago - I must get

back into it - it's absolutely fascinating. Don't know why I didn't finish

reading it - it kind of blew my mind so I had to go off and try and digest it

(for ten years)

I think you are doing quite well at understanding. I don't know

which nne on book you are speaking about, but my opinion

is that her writings are a good way to begin to think in " Course In

Miracles " or Non-Dual terms.
