Guest guest
I really don’t know much about peak flows. My doctor never really gave me an asthma plan so I think I need to call and get one. I do know that my company has an outside company that helps manage asthma and they suggested I purchase a peak flow meter and I did. I have used it a couple of times and the best I ever get is 450 on my better days. I haven’t checked it on days I seem to be struggling. I’ll email myself at work to call his nurse for some more detailed direction. Melinda -----Original Message----- From: asthma [mailto:asthma ]On Behalf Of FFTaz71@... I ended up in the ER tonight, with a really sneaky asthma attack. My ONLY symptoms were that my chest was tight and deep inhalations gave me a bronchitis type of pain. My peak flows were kind of all over the place today too..540 when I got up, 610 after AM meds and ventolin. This afternoon I spiked a fever and my peak flows dropped 100 pts...so we went to the ER. Im on pred for 5 days and no work this weekend. Ann
