Can't seem to bring up the discussion here -- (you suggested ask for Vit E oil

as a filler instead of rice powder at Harvest Drug & Gift in WF TX).

Local compounding pharmacy where we are sojourning now (no ins. probs ordering

in time to receive!) suggested sodium bicarbonate (baking soda? - more alkaline

for body, most of us are too acid) as a filler, would not use olive oil like

WIP. grr.

Don't know if they will use Vit E oil, will ask next time, thx for suggestion.

What do you think of the sodium bicarb if they won't use Vit E oil? JYHO only.

So far I like b. soda better, except I am dividing capsules in half to get right

dosage w/ new hormone doc, who wants me to keep increasing, as soon as I can,

sneaking up on avoiding heart palps (have MVP, tach, fib, take beta blocker to

regulate).

I think they put the soda in one end, and the Thy in the other (one day strong

soda taste, next day, heart palps from too much Thyroid USP powder, Sherlock

Holmes here thinks that's what they do, based on these symptoms, but I should

ask), so I open capsule, mix together, try to take half of it, put rest back in

(usually ruined) fragile gel capsule for next day. Pain. Not consistent.

I am avoiding $ on a new Rx that will change again soon, I have a full bottle of

these.

Thx. Vicki K

Not very many compounders still do oil capsules of any kind. I have had olive oil and safflower oil capsules. My question about the vitamin E capsules would be how much E do you get?

If I could not get the oil capsules, then bicarbonate of soda would be my second choice.
