Did any of you develop gallbladder problems due to low thyroid function? I thought I bruised a rib, because I have very few gallbladder disease risk factors... then to find out, I have a lot of the symptoms (especially the right-sided pain) - waiting for ultrasound and curious if I'm the only one!Yes, I have problems with my gallbladder and I am hypothyroid. Instead of going to a doctor and having tests done, I read up on gallbladder issues when I had both the pain in my right side and in the back of my neck. Both are areas that light up when the gallbladder is having a problem. I chose not to go to the doctor after finding sources on the Internet that were affirmed by my health adviser. Here is one site that helped me:http://www.relfe.com/gall_stone_cleanse.html I did the gall bladder flush a couple of times a month for two months or so; then once a month; and I am aiming for once every two months now. If that works, I will eventually go to once every six months etc. It is working. Now the reason I didn't go to the doctor and have tests done, etc. is because I know several people who have had the surgery and have let their gall bladder be removed, and you know what, they are no more comfortable now than they were before they had the surgery. I talked at length with the person I call my health adviser as well as with my chiropractor (both were astounded that I had found Dr. because of a search on neck pain. As one said, I was probably one in a hundred people who would have found that when entering neck pain!). I have done the cleanse about six time already. It is not fun, but I feel so much better when it is over, and if I am careful about what I eat (and I understand the same holds true if you have it removed), I do very well. But when I cannot overcome my desire for foods I know disagree with me, then it flares up. I recommend that you do a lot of research on the Internet about gall bladder alternatives. I am really glad that I did, and from what I have heard over the years from people who have had the surgery, I feel that I am doing as well as they are for sure. The good thing is that when mine flares up, I can do another cleanse, maybe sooner than I planned, and I also know that what I eat affects it. The site I gave you above has helped me a lot: http://www.relfe.com/gall_stone_cleanse.htmlHere are some others:http://www.amaluxherbal.com/The_Liver_and%20Gallbladder%20cleanse.htm http://www.4optimallife.com/Liver-Cleanse-And-Detoxification-Procedures.htmlhttp://www.mayoclinic.com/health/gallbladder-cleanse/AN01283 http://www.cleansingorsurgery.com/cleansingorsurgeryinfo.htmhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbrNbGl1-vA http://lifeevents.org/gall-bladder-cleanse.htm-- An animal's eyes have the power to speak a great language. - Buber http://dearjubilee-joyce.blogspot.com www.dearjubilee.com
