Guest guest
Hi to all.. There has been lots of talk about using erythromyacin for stomach motility lately...just thought i would share my knowledge withh you all. The dose used for motility is about 1/10 th of the mormal dose that would be used for an antibiotic purpose. Therefore, you would not have to woory about leaving a child on it for a long time. How does it help reflux? it works very similar to propulsid and reglan. it increases motility (stomach emptying) so that stops the refluxing problem because food empties from the stomach much faster. My daughter was on it for about 2 mos...it did seem to help. Hope I cleared up any questions.
