That was the first time that I had talked to ANYONE with NF2, besides my son! I know from experience how alone Gail feels, and think she is very lucky to have such a wonderful, loving sister as you! How were they able to determine the retether from the MRI ... My understanding is that once tethered one will always look tethered on the MRI. Will you have surgery soon? Guest guest Posted April 18, 2010 Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 Pam - I suffer from chronic headaches and before I had my surgery two years ago my NS said it might help my headaches as well. Although my headaches aren't as severe as they once were, still have them on a daily basis. So it is possible your headaches are connected to your TC according to my NS - and my chiropractor as well says anything in the spine and affect the head. Hopefully yours will go away after surgery!
