Welcome Welcome Welcome Kim!!!!!

Boy you have it tough with MS and fibro.

Luckily I have fibro as the worse of my health problems. I have allergies,

migraine disease, tendonitis, and just found out bursitis in my heel (which

unfortunately qualified for those blue placard for handicap folks).

Lotsa folks here dealing with lots of issues but also dishing out lots of humor.

Watch out for them! *G*

Man my dox REFUSE to give me that blue placard. You'd think I was

asking them to do something illegal. I haven't asked again recently.

(which unfortunately qualified for those blue placard for handicap

folks).

Hey !

I never even asked for it. I had my hubby there, and I was just telling the doc

how weekends literally kill me. Hubby is constantly asking if I want to leave

now in whatever store we were in. After a few minutes of walking non-stop, I

started hurting. Doc just told me out of the blue (didn't see that coming

really!) that I qualified for the handicap card.

Funny thing is, my doc remembered my mentioned hurting my " ankle " on the

treadmill when I saw him in December. But at the time, he was more focused on

my overall body pain (that's when I got the fibro diagnosis) than the ankle

problem.

He said he was on the treadmill himself last night (the night before this appt

about the heel) and the TV was on but his " clicker was broke " *G* and he was

bored when he started to think about me and my ankle and remember my telling him

last Dec (what a memory--that was 7 months ago) about hurting it on the

treadmill.

I knew then and there my guides were reminding him about last year and to pay

special attention to me *G* My guides take real good care of me!

Do you have a witness? Can you just say how hard it is to walk for even a

minute or two? Don't mention the card. I think that turns them off to you.

Just a thought.

:o)

,

I come into the doctor's office with a back brace and a cane. I

would think that would tip them off. That guy was an imbecile. Said

that the extra exercise would be good for me.

People who are that empathic - I want to make them hurt as much as I

do and then say to them - see walk a few blocks...IT'S GOOD FOR YOU!

I am considering asking my Internist for one. They all know how much

I'm hurting. But like my husband, they are convinced that just a

little bit more exercise is somehow going to be good for me. The

thing is, I'd never ask for something if I didn't think I needed it.

I'm a stairs person unless its more than 4 floors. I don't worry

about parking spots close by - usually just drive to where its easy

to park and do it. But when you are seriously hurting, you take the

elevator, and you park as close as you can.

I just never seem to have much luck with doctors in general. I'm not

sure why.

As for my hubby being of help - forget it. He doesn't believe there

is anything wrong with me. And on most days, that includes my back

as well as the fibro.
