Just as bad: my dad often mutters at me to 'stop acting like a

three-year-old' when I'm going into one of my sensory-overload

meltdowns. First of all, I don't recognize that I'm acting like a

three-year-old; and second, even if I did recognize it, there's not

much I can do to control it when I'm in a meltdown state.
