Our Ontario mosquitoes just put on their snowsuits and continue on their

merry way. I've got about 4 feet of snow outside my door and we're

expecting another 2 feet within 48 hours. I've got memory problems, but

this has definitely gotta be one the worst winters ever. And it's only been

snowing for 2 weeks so far.

I got out the ladder yesterday to go up and shovel the roof. I got half way

up the ladder and decided f%$# it. It'd be safer just to let the roof

collapse than to go up there and slide off. I'll see if I can talk a

neighbourhood kid into doing it for me.

peace and cheers and cheezies with beer,

Ronny,

You'd better let some kid do it. You're needed too much here.

It's in the low 40s here after a brief dip into the teens and some snow (4

inches). Not like there, but more than enough to make me sit in the house and

not go out.

Go ahead and call me wimp, sticks and stones may break my bones, not to mention

a fall on the ice, but names will never hurt me.

Hello.

I'm a veterinary technician & no rabies shots I know of required unless the

dog has no vaccinations, the state requires the dog to go into quarintine if

the vaccine has not been given. It can also take up to 9 months to show signs

of rabies. Not sure if that's just in humans or all species, I'll ask my boss.

Marti -- I raise show dogs and have for many many years. You may wish to

check your sources, as the " 9 months to show signs of rabies " is very

incorrect. It is nine days, thus the 10 day quarantine period for most

states. This applies to humans and all animal species.
