Guest guest
, Gosh, I can imagine how you feel. Some people are just so insensitive!!! But maybe this guy looks at Kennedy and doesn't see her disabilities or her hearing aids and glasses. He just sees an adorably cute little girl who is part of a wonderful family. I'm sure he will feel really awful once he realises what he has done. A couple of our friends have come out with some really stupid comments about Jack. They just don't get it do they? Keep smiling!! Guest guest
, I am assuming that you are going to let your friend know that the *joke* was offensive? Guest guest
Elaine, I think I was flabbergasted more than offended that someone would be so un-thinking to send us of all people such a joke! It's not like we aren't going to still be friends or anything, but what a major faux pas on his part! Guest guest
Sally, I agree, which is why I didn't write back immediately, I took a few mins to breathe. This guy is really a sweet guy, and I know when he gets my email politely asking to not include us in his mailings of disabled jokes, he will feel TERRIBLE... But, I would've felt wrong had I said nothing...
