Next time someone asks me what I do, I want to reply

" I'm an investigator. "

And if/when they ask what I investigate, I'll say

" My thoughts. "

Perhaps it will lead to an interesting conversation. Perhaps not. But

I'll love where it goes in either case.

p.s. Why is 'gator' on the end? Cuz investigating gobbles up the

illusions?
