My last meal is at 6pm and I had a hamburger with no bun and a salad.

Just thought I'd mention...just discovered ground buffalo...it's really tasty

and super lean, for those of you trying to keep control of weight. Vicki

<My last meal is at 6pm and I had a hamburger with no bun and a salad>

that sounds like resonable choices and the time should have been sufficient.

Taking morning meds and skipping eating because of a high reading isn't good

because some of the meds we take are hard on the stomach lining and can create

an ulser if you do that often enough. I know the one thing my husband was told

when he was first diagnosed is that some foods can have up to a 48 hr time

period to affect our bg's which is why they suggest keeping a food diary.

It's all a learning experience for all of us, Zissy. Now what the heck did

you eat the day before, that could have caused this?

Oops sorry Zissy ... I'm getting my posts all out of order because I sorted

them by Subject rather than date (trying to get through the diabetes_int

posts first). Now I see that you had a burger sans bun and a salad the

evening before ... hmmm. Your food choices sound good to me ... :o\
