Guest guest
<My last meal is at 6pm and I had a hamburger with no bun and a salad> that sounds like resonable choices and the time should have been sufficient. Taking morning meds and skipping eating because of a high reading isn't good because some of the meds we take are hard on the stomach lining and can create an ulser if you do that often enough. I know the one thing my husband was told when he was first diagnosed is that some foods can have up to a 48 hr time period to affect our bg's which is why they suggest keeping a food diary. Guest guest
Oops sorry Zissy ... I'm getting my posts all out of order because I sorted them by Subject rather than date (trying to get through the diabetes_int posts first). Now I see that you had a burger sans bun and a salad the evening before ... hmmm. Your food choices sound good to me ... \ Susie
