yes i do as a matter of fact! before my first pregnancy i was working out

with a nordic track and as soon as i lost all of my weight i got pregnant.

after that pregnancy, i started doing taebo and as soon as i reached my goal

again, *whammo*, i got pregnant again. so i certainly do think that there

is a correlation between being in good shape and fertility!

Here's some motivation for ya . I just read in an article in

my " Fit Pregnancy " magazine that babies who's moms exercised

throughout their pregnancy were smarter than if they hadn't

exercised. Don't quote me on the exact terminology but it said that

studies showed from 5 days old to 5 years old there was a

difference. So, not only are we doing it for ourselves we are SOOO

doing it for our babies too!!

Darcy who has a doctor appointment next Monday and I can't wait!!

I'm really hoping they can find the heartbeat!!

Oh my gosh,

I wish my morning sickness wasn't bad. I have morning sickness,

afternoon sickness, evening sickness, middle of the night sickness.

Yuck. It was bad with my last pregnancy, but not this bad!!!!!! It

is starting to get better. I have crackers on my night stand so I

eat a few before I get out of bed, and if I wake up at night. And I

have been drinking ginger ale and such. I still can't even look at a

Tae Bo tape without feeling nauseous. I have been sticking to yoga.

That seems to calm me down and relax me. Hopefully after the first

trimester I will be able to do Tae Bo again. My doc says that I can

work out if I feel like it. So, I will when I can!

P.S. How is your morning sickness????? I have LOST 3 pounds!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry about your morning sickness! Knock on wood, but I haven't

had any at all. I feel perfectly normal. I just may be that type of person

though. I didn't get morning sickness with my first son either.

You'll be able to work out soon. You're half way through the first

trimester already! Hang in there!

Too Cool!! We should all 3 have November babies if you guys aren't

too late or me too early..LOL.. This may be a silly question, but

how do they determine your due date if you don't know when your last

period was anyway? I knew exactly when I ovulated so that's how I

got mine figured out. Technically, if I went by my last period

(12/31) it would have put me like 2 months ahead..(I wish) But I

knew when I ovulated so that's how we got the right date :)

Darcy who wants to congratulate everyone on their brags for the day

too!!

This may be a silly question, but

It's not a silly question at all! There are 3 ways of determining a

due date: according to your last period, by measuring the height (or

volume) of your uterus or through ultrasound (this is the more

precise determination). If for instance someone has irregular

periods, you can't really calculate a due date from the LMP. A

doctor can usually make a very good guestimate in the first trimester

by doing a pelvic exam and after the 1st trimester by measuring the

height of your uterus from the pelvic bone. Usually, when it can't

be determined from the LMP, the due date (or gestational age) has to

be determined by ultrasound (that's how they determined my due date,

because I have irregular cycles).

I'm pretty sure this will answer your question.

why she remembers these things.
