Beets, Mommy to Karlee, mds, 7 and Eli, 2 Welcome another Adult with MDS! Hi Everyone We have a new member! Here is what she had to say..... Hello, My name is Flanagan. I was diagnosed with MDS at age 3. At that point the doctors told my parents that they had a couple of options.....they could put me in a state school or take me home. I'm now 36 years old and live in Texas. In May I will graduate from South Plains College with two associates degrees. One in General Arts and the other in General Science. This fall I will transfer to Texas Tech University to earn a Bachelor's Degree in History or General Studies. I live independently and work a full time job and go to school part time. I'm glad that there is becoming more of an awareness of MDS! =) Thank you! Flanagan Welcome to our family ! It is great to meet you!!!!! just joined us too and she has MDS. Maybe the two of you can talk! Please feel free to join in the conversations here! I know that the families will find you to be a big inspiration!
