It sounds as if you are really having something serious going on and I would think the Dr would want that MRI as soon as possible. And No you have not come to the wrong place, if it turns out that what you have is chiari......there are many adults here who suffer from chiari as well as children, who suffer from it. Best wishes and welcome, Judy Marie ------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you keep looking there are other sites that will tell that. I don't have fibromyalgia, so I'm not sure of all the symptoms that are associated with that. But from the sounds of what you said, it sure sounds a lot like ACM too. Have you tried this site........ A CM Information ????? There are a lot of different sites at this one. If you've seen that one already I know of others too if your interested. Well, good luck on finding out about your MRI, hopefully you'll be able to get in before May. That sure is a long wait. Take Care!!! Guest guest
Welcome, Farrow! At 11:12 PM 1/11/1999 -0500, pharoah wrote: > Can anyone tell me if I'm way off base being here? Nope, it certainly could be chiari, but a bunch of other stuff, too. i know you're anxious to figure out what's wrong so you can start on the road to hopefully correcting it - but it might not be the best idea to get your heart set on having chiari :-) and then have it turn out to be somrthing different. Know what I mean? Besides, chiari can be scary, and it may be that you have something easier to fix. Whereabouts in Ontario are you? I'm near Owen Sound and our Director, Darlene, is in Kitchener. We've also got Eurico in Ottawa and Tracey in Kingston. And a few other Ontarian Chiarians too. peace and cheers and cheese and pears, ronny ------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's higher than Putter but Putter is older and has had more interventions probably. Putter would have been higher last year, but the first time I took the test, which was less than a year ago, Putter was in the upper 80's, I think, but I have lost the piece of paper somewhere in this office. > > I. Health/Physical/Behavior: 24 > Total ATEC Summary Score: 98 Anything above thirty is considered to be in the autistic ballpark, but I am sure kids without autism could score over thirty for a whole variety of reasons (however, I do think any kid who scored above thirty would be a child with a few issues that need working on....) Most of us just use the ATEC to compare our kids with themselves and see how much progress has been made because it doesn't really make much sense to compare them to each other. They are all SO different. Salli
