Guest guest
Dr Gorn, here in Dallas, has a background as an endo, but has studied bio-identical hormones and is now focusing on that. I have no other info about her, but this has me curious. Has anyone heard of her yet? A name Dr Christianson is giving out now is a Dr Harsh. Again, I don’t know anything about her beyond her name, but thought I’d toss it out there.
Guest guest
Update on bioidentical hormones. I've been taking my adrenal support stuff for my high cortisol. Feeling much better with normal energy and clear headed again. Started having problems staying asleep or waking up early and unable to return to sleep. Received my bio identical hormone pill-progesterone and cream-estrogen. Within two days I'm sleeping normal again. That cream makes my skin baby soft! I want to dip myself in a vat of it...Ha ha! The lesson I've learned here is that little things make BIG differences! Debbie in Dallas

Guest guest
Yeah! second day on Cytomel and a fog is lifting slightly. I can tell the difference. I am tempted to take 10 instead of .5 though. I am taking the Levo as well .75. I take them all together. But what I want to do is take another .5 now! lol As I feel the drop in enegry after 5 hours. Once my salivia labs come back and I get on some hormones i think I'll be on my way to health. I would like to taper of T4 altogether! Those labs are weird even though they look ok. I was on Levo only and was soooo hypo hper it was not funny. I would even skip doses of the Levo .75 because I was afraid of taking it. So I was shocked to see thesAlmond mile lab results. Weird. So I'm thinking it's cortisol issues at this time. I've cut out bread and milk aloing with other thinhgs that cause me to bloat severly. And I noticed a change with that. I ordered a book about Thyroid disease and all I can say is knowledge is power. But I am going to ask for cytomel ad I generally do better on name brand. Ellis Ecke, LPC www.thetraumaqueen.com Sent from my iPhone I have done quite well with Cytomel. I originally noticed no difference at all when I was just on levoxyl. It wasn't until I got on the cytomel that I started feeling better. I have always taken mine in multiple doses as I can tell when the levels decrease after about 4-6 hours. I prefer the name brand over the generic. I think it's slightly stronger and the pills split easily if you need to increment your dosage in amounts not available in the tablets, which I think come in 5, 10, 25 and 50 mcgs. B. ANIMDIVA, Did the doc at hamptom clinic give you Cytomel? Have you ever taken it? Just wondering how it works. Got the brand name at the pharmacy there. The protein powder supports healthy blood sugar levels. The tea has herbal adrenal support but also is an excuse to take a break and relax. That is the hardest one to do!The most important is the 7-8 hours sleep...not doing so well with that either! This is for high cortisol...ironically I felt tired and it like I was drugged after dinner but then had a pick up after 11pm. Now I feel more like my old self.I wouldn't play around with these if you haven't been tested. If you are low in adrenals this wouldn't be helpful.------------------------------------

The compounded I take has both T3 and T4...I believe the pharmacist said it was Cytomel and Levoxine. debbie in dallas
