Guest guest
Why is it that when has a fever that he can do things he normally wouldn't. It's like the fever makes him less autistic. Yesterday he was having quite a time with his gameboy red pokemon game. I'm not sure if the gameboy is acting up because it's been dropped so many times or if the game is reaching the end of it's useful lifetime, but even though it kept dumping saved settings on hime he kept trying! Even after the game shut off and restarted for the third time he SAID, " AAH! I'm SO frustrated with this! I don't want to play it anymore! " I was shocked! All I could think of is where was the tantrum? WOW! I can't explain it really because I don't understand the difference myself except that he has always been different when he has a fever. It's like he is connected or checked into here on a level that most of us are but he is not. He seems more calm, less agitated, and yesterday expressed his frustration. I almost dropped my teeth when he did that! Holy smokes. Anyway, I was just wondering if any of the rest of us have noticed a similar effect when their autistic kids have fevers.
