Yes, but it's only a half order of spaghetti and the chicken breast makes a

difference in BG's. Also, I come straight home and spring onto my treadmill...

Some of us can handle some carbs. I had a dinner of spaghetti, salad, and a

piece of garlic bread. My 2-hour pp level was 84.

Wow, that dinner would do me in for sure unless I gave myself major lispro

to cover!

I *thought* they were a no-no, also. I looked them up, and they're not as

bad as their reputation. I'm thinking that carrots are also a bit

over-rated as being high carb. I got to wondering about the glycemic

Index on these two foods. They're not listed -- at least in Rick Mendosa's

on-line list.

What was it at the 1-hour? That's a very crucial reading for me. My

" rice experiment " gave a 1-hour PP of 206; a 2-hour of 175. (I'd thought

the second reading was much lower, but written stats don't lie.)

However, as we all know --- YMMV.

Forgot to mention. When I first met with my dietitian she said that the optimum

exercise plan for a t-2 is to take a brisk 15 minute walk after each meal..
