The most certain way to succeed is to always try just one more time. Edison Nothing is impossible; there are ways that lead to everything, and if we had sufficient will we should always have sufficient means. It is often merely for an excuse that we say things are impossible. Francois de LaRochefoucauld NEWS --ED ROBERTS, Father of the Independent Living Movement, is one of my heroes. When my son, , was very young, Ed was one of my teachers in the renowned Partners in Policymaking leadership training. His wisdom, humor, and positive attitude changed my life and the trajectory of my son's life. Ed passed away suddenly in 1995, but his legacy lives on, and now you can also learn from Ed. The Minnesota Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities is excited to announce a web presentation about Ed -www.mnddc.org/ed-roberts/index.html. Ed's leadership changed disability policy and attitudes about living with a disability worldwide. His vision opened the American dream to many people with disabilities. --SING ALONG with Loud, Proud, and Passionate, filmed during MIUSA's 5th International Women's Institute on Leadership and Disability -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxxomUVsSik Visit Disability is Natural Shop for posters, bookmarks, note cards, magnets, and badges that feature positive messages about disability in our Online Store.
