Guest guest
One thing to look out for is that if you are breastfeeding and you have issues with milk supply, that can be indicative of a need to bump up your dose. It can be particularly difficult to BF early babies as they generally can't get the milk out as efficiently as a full term baby, so they often need to BF longer and more often, so it can be difficult to judge your milk supply other than weighing the baby before and after he eats. B. This is very interesting to me that you stayed at your higher dosage. I actually delivered my baby yesterday, at 36 weeks so 4 weeks early. We are both doing great. He is small but has had no problems. My Dr. has already ordered me new meds and wants me to go back down to the stable dosage I was on before getting pregnant. Keep in mind that my dosage was only bumped up the last two months of pregnancy. I am also pretty sure that if my original dosage proves to be too low that there's an in between dosage that I can bump it up to without us going as high as we bumped it during the pregnancy. We are going to do blood tests again in 4 weeks to see where I am at. It will be interesting though during the time to recognize what are recovering from pregnancy symptoms, sleep deprivation from being up with the baby at night and change in thyroid dosage symptoms. > > I waited a bit after delivery to have my thyroid tested.. I've actually felt good the past 17 months.. >
