I saw this show and was also appalled. The mom says she believes the children are blind and deaf, but has anyone tried to prove that? Not that that would make it okay to kill them. Also, has anyone attempted to give them a means of communication? Does anyone try to find out what they might enjoy (like TV)? It looked like they are just left to sit in their chair with no stimulation at all times.

THIS is very disturbing and what is even more disturbing is that 90% of the audience agrees with it. I think we need to write letters in disapproval, disgust, etc.

This is a very sad commentary on where we are as a society right now.

It is  disgusting and frightening.  As the stranglehold continues upon the disappearing middle class and as resources dwindle, I fear we will see more of this.  When times get tough, groups go looking for another group to vent their frustrations on.

We have already lost so much of our humanity as a world.  When one group gets discriminated against, all suffer.  I believe that as soon as our government threw our children away and denied them the right to be heard in a fair and just hearing then everything this country has stood for is just smoke and mirrors.

There is no longer meaning in " and justice for all. "    People want the easy way out.  People want to shirk responsibility and duty, and they just want to cover their asses.  People often start looking for a way out when they cannot handle it.  they find ways to justify their actions -- even Al Capone tried to justify his actions by saying he was just doing what he had to do to take care of his family.  Now, as more and more children have disabilities (because the posers that be do not want to face what is really causing it all) and with the dwindling resources, more and more will jump on this band wagon to justify ending lives they do not value.  I think if this happens then we should have no right to call ourselves human beings anymore.

In the parents of disabled children and in the parents of children with autism, I find honor.  I don't see it in too many other places these days.
