Guest guest
I did a bit of looking for why Dr. Hamel gave me iodine to take although I have Hashi's. Now I understand why he did it. He also has me taking selenium.I found this article http://perfecthealthdiet.com/2011/05/iodine-and-hashimotos-thyroiditis-part-i/ a very long and technical article which states in part,"It’s plausible that if iodine were supplemented in this way, then Hashimoto’s patients would experience benefits with little risk of harm. Anecdotally, a number have reported benefits from supplemental iodine."
