Guest guest
id like to join the 30 day challenge too please! i did miss april 1 but will add an extra day onto the end to make up for it. i really want to workout every day but i am having some motivation probs and am talking myself into taking a day off here and there and then i feel crappy about it. so i figure that if i have to answer to all of you then that will get me moving. im peeved because i still havent lost any weight after 3 months of doing taebo about 5 times a week... i know that i had faster results the last time i did taebo back in 2000 so that is why my motivation is lousy. ::sigh:: i know that i have lost an inch here or there and i do feel a bit better overall, but still im feeling impatient and scared that i wont make my goal of losing 25 pounds by may 24. (which was the same goal that i had last time and i met it then so why not now??... yes i am 2 years older and have had another baby so that is probably why, but i still get frustrated). i also need help in drinking water each day!! i am only drinking water while i workout and while i tried to start drinking more the other day the kids took my big cup with the measurements on it and i cant find it! LOL. anyway, what should i drink? how many eight oz glasses a day?? 4 or 5 or 6? hopefully not more than that... heh heh. anyway, i skipped apr 1 but on apr 2 i did a full live advanced, apr 3 was live basic and today was 30 mins of live advanced (the kids were bugging me so i couldnt get it all done... i will try to finish the tape off later). *~*~*~*~* Carolyn in ONT Canada

What is important is not the numbers on the scale, but measurements, clothes size and overall attitude. The numbers on the scale don't mean zilch! However, if you do feel that you aren't getting the results you expect, take a look at your portion sizes and general eating habits. Exercise is great, and definitely helps in losing weight, but most will tell you that " weight loss " is a healthy equation between adequate eating (eating the right portions of the right foods) and energy expenditure (ie exercise).
