Guest guest
Hello I hope that you are doing well and are looking forward to the weekend that is coming fast ) I just wanted to tell you something and hope you will be able to get me some feedback on that ,.. I know most of you do know what my situation is like , being out of work , my physical stuff that is going on and that I am studying at the moment ofcourse,.. Anyway,.. I was at first aid class yesterday and it wasnt really a class it was the yearly meeting of the organisation,.. Anyway we are up to date with a lot of stuff now ,.. but they also got a problem , being that there are way to few instructors to teach in First Aid classes ,.. Lotussus they need too but I am talking First Aid instructor,... They are in serieus need for new people , most that do instruct are getting at an age that they are slowly thinking about retiring in a few years and now they need new people who are willing to learn to be an Instructor ,that means ,going to class one week and practise the next for a year long , those that do want to try get the help of the current instructors in the year of training ,even after they are done training when they are going to get out to teach the instructors we have will be there with them when they do their first number of classes to support and help if needed,.. The current instructors will help where they can with your lessons and with the hours you are there to practise too.... If all goes well then you can earn even a nice extra with your work when you are becoming an instructor,.. I have been with the First Aid organisation since April of 1995 ,.. and yearly get at least 8 hours of training to make sure that things dont get forgotten,... I know that I have physical issues then that is mostly my leg ,.. I would still have to be trying to do and show what the students need to learn but it is not that way that it is very heavy I think , what one needs to do is teach, and show the students and help them to perfect their First Aid skills ,.. What do you think would that be something for me , do you see me doing this sort of thing,... I have to say that I did talk to both instructors last night about it , briefly ,.and that I will be able to get more info and stuff if needed,.. I told them that I am studying at the moment , but on the other hand I am not sure if I will be able to get the UWV help with paying for further training in what I am doing now,I asked them but didnt hear anything back still... althought I know that there is a possibility they will,... I dont know if they do that it would be ok to do two things at the same time on the other hand I dont know what kind of intensity the First Aid instructor will have outside the lessons and practising ,.. I know that surely I need to know the stuff that is in the book of the Orange Cross ,.. But as you notice I am wondering what all you think????? liefs Annemie
