Guest guest
Dear , Don't feel selfish. You're in pain, and you need support. Winter is an awful time for people with chronic pain, and you shouldn't feel selfish about needing support or attention, or just someone to vent to. People schedules don't always work out as planned, but try not to take it personally. It's easy to do when you don't feel good, but there's loads of us out there in your situation. The depression, although it sucks, is normal too. It's ok if you don't want to look at people, or interact with people, just don't get stuck where it goes on for months and months. The sunshine will be here soon. Can you go do some theraputic tanning? (Not the kind to get 'tan', but enough so SAD symptoms aren't coming into play) or how about going hot tubbing? Anything so you get a few minutes of relief and comfort. And try to remember, what you're feeling is normal, and not permanent. You have to trick your mind, and keep telling yourself that, and if nothing works, don't be afraid to try some meds to boost your spirit. Or if you're more into natural things, try some st. johns wort (of course I must add, so no one yells here-as long as it won't interfere with your other meds and if your doc says it's ok) or try valerian, or skullcap, or chammomile, the list goes on. Make time for yourself to relax, have some herbal tea, a hot bath, what ever you need, and don't feel selfish about it. We do what we need to to get though the day, don't ever feel bad about it. Best wishes to you!!! sqbear2@y... wrote: > I am sure most of the folks here have read my story so i won't bore > everyone with the details.
