It is amazing what taking your meds will do! I'm not as swollen, and a lot of

the joint pain is gone. I won't say it is all fixed, because obviously it

isn't, too soon for that, but it has started to get there. I still have a

finger on my left side, and my left hip that is really giving me trouble, but I

am happier.

I have started taking all my thyroid in the morning, so there is no chance of

forgetting it. I am not taking my Vit D, nor my Calcium, as I looked on the

label, and the only other ingredients in them is cellulose, of course.

So, I will find some new Vitamin D3, and Calcium, and then get started on those

as soon as I can.

What do you mean when you say Dr. "did not respect your time"?

Are you on Medicare? It is not unusual for docs to give Medicare patients less time or to make them wait while they see other patients first. Medicare patients may also have to wait longer to get an appointment with some specialists. The reason is that Medicare does not pay "diddly-squat".

Does Dr. Krusz see thyroid patients for the treatment of hypothyroidism or does he only treat thyroid issues in neurology patients?

Please write these docs up in the Database.

Thanks!

>> Hi Everyone,> It has been a very long time since I posted due to other life issues. I am hypothyroid with MS. I am on time-released T3 and doing much better.> My T4 was never an issue, only the T3 was low, so I wanted to take a conservative approach. Before starting this regimen, I was having palpitations and saw a cardiologist in McKinney; he gave me a prescription for a beta blocker, but said that hypothyroidism could be the underlying cause, because my heart was in great condition. I asked him if I could try a T3 only regimen and he was not opposed to it. He suggested that I take the beta blocker if the T3 didn't stop the fluttering, but it did. > > I went to see Dr. Alfred in who is an alternative medicine practitioner. He takes Medicare. He will prescribe Armour for those who want it. He has also offered the use of his office for meetings by the group. Dr. is very knowledgable, but I stopped seeing him because he didn't respect my time.> > The doctor who started me on the T3 only regimen was Dr. Claude Krusz in Dallas. He is a neurologist with an endocrinology and pharmacology background. Dr. Krusz does not accept Medicare anymore and he does not prescribe Armour, but he will help those with hypothyroid by stepping outside the box.> > I hope this information will be helpful for others in the group.> > Blessings,> > Kim Fatica>
